Bacon Chicken Wraps

6 tablespoons brown sugar, firmly packed 1-1/2 teaspoons chili powder
1 chicken breast half, boneless, skinless, cut into 1-inch cubes
9 to 10 bacon slices, cut in half horizontally
wooden toothpicks
In a small bowl mix together brown sugar and chili
powder.
Wrap each cubed breast with a halved bacon slice, secure with a
wooden toothpick at the seam and dredge in the sugar mixture. Place on a non-stick cookie sheet and bake at
350° for 30 minutes or until crisp.
Serve hot or at room
temperature.
Wine recommendation: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot
