this cute and clever idea is from the fair
organizers at
the 2008 Iowa State Fair,
use your imagination to
build them using most any fresh vegetable such as grape tomatoes,
etc.

Make as many as you like with:
wooden skewers, one per
person
Radishes
Carrots
Celery
Radicchio leaves
Cucumbers
Iceberg lettuce, cut into 2-inch chunks
Black olives, pitted
Dressing
of your choice
Cut vegetables into thin slices and thread onto skewers.
Drizzle dressing down one side and serve.
Wine recommendation: dry white wine such as Chardonnay, Pinot
Grigio, Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc
