here is a great lunch idea that is easy to put
together...
make it for your family by using up the last bit of a roast you
had the night before, or serve this to overnight guests.
It is filling and satisfying, the flavors go well together,
serve with a variety of chips

Roast
Beef Croissant Sandwich

Serves 1
1 large croissant roll
1 teaspoon Best Food (Hellman's) mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon prepared hot horseradish
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1/4 pound deli roast beef, thinly sliced Salt and pepper, to taste
1 large slice Gruyere cheese
1 slice red onion
curly leaf lettuce, arugula or Romaine
Cut roll in half horizontally. Mix mayonnaise and
horseradish together in a small bowl, spread on one half of
croissant. Spread the other half with mustard.
Layer
the sandwich with beef seasoned with salt and pepper, add
the cheese, onion and lettuce, close it up, cut in half and serve.
Wine recommendation: Cabernet, beer
