Baguette Bread 8 ounce package Marcel Q. henri Pate
(available at Trader Joe's) Salt, to taste cracked black pepper, to taste
White Truffle Oil
garnish with chives or capers or
thinly sliced red onion
Slice baguette bread 1/4-inch thick, place on
a sheet pan, toast one side under the broiler
for 2 minutes or until lightly toasted. This can be done ahead of
time; keep at room temperature, do not cover or it will become soft.
Spread approximately 1 teaspoon pate on each baguette bread slice, add salt and
pepper to taste. Sprinkle with a small amount of white truffle oil, add chives or capers or
slivered red onion slices for garnish and serve
immediately. How easy is that! Wine recommendation:
Merlot, Cabernet, beer
