How easy!
Make this cute little cherry tomato bowl garnish!
Simply hollow out the inside of tomatoes and fill with small pieces of your favorite vegetables, I used rolled up salad greens.
Place on dinner plates next to the main meat entree, or
serve it alongside a sandwich for lunch,
you could even fill it with crisp bacon and place on a breakfast plate,
the ways you can serve this cherry tomato bowl garnish are endless...  Enjoy!

Serve one on each plate with a First Course Appetizers or Lunch Ideas or a Meat Entree.

Easy to make

Cherry Tomatoes
small salad greens (use Arugula, mesclun, spinach or leaf lettuce)
Extra-virgin Olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste

Cut and discard a small slice from the bottom of each cherry tomato so that they will sit level. Cut the tops off each one and using a melon baller carefully scoop out the centers making a bowl. Sprinkle insides with salt and pepper then place upside down on paper towels to drain.

In a small bowl toss salad greens of your choice lightly with olive oil, salt and pepper. Stack and roll the greens with the right side facing out. Place the rolled up greens inside the cherry tomato bowl. Place one on each plate
