Cherry Tomatoes Stuffed with Cheese Appetizer Recipe
Hollowed out cherry tomatoes stuffed with mozzarello cheese, olive oil and fresh basil for an easy appetizer.

32 Cherry Tomatoes Salt and pepper, to taste 4 ounces Mozzarella Cheese 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil 1/4 cup Fresh Basil leaves sliced 1/4-inch
Instruction:
Cut and discard a small slice from the bottom of each tomato so they will sit level. Cut and discard a small slice off tops
of tomatoes, and scoop out centers with the small end of a melon baller. Sprinkle insides with salt and pepper,
place upside down on paper towels to drain.
Stuff each tomato with a small amount of Mozzarella cheese, drizzle with
extra-virgin olive oil and top with freshly sliced basil leaves. Serve on a platter, garnish
with whole basil leaves.
