Serves 1

2 cups frozen shredded hash brown potatoes
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 egg, prepared according to your preference
2 baguette bread slices toasted
2 pats butter
fresh orange juice
fresh strawberry with hull
freshly brewed coffee

Pour 1 teaspoon oil in the middle of a baking sheet; put hash browns on the oil and spread the potatoes with oil underneath to approximately 1/2-inch thickness. Salt and pepper the potatoes and place under the broiler turning the baking sheet halfway through cooking for approximately 8 to 12 minutes or until potatoes are browned being careful they do not burn.

Prepare the egg to your preference.  Toast the bread.  Pour orange juice into a champagne flute or stemmed glass, attach a fresh strawberry on the rim of the glass and serve this beautiful breakfast with freshly brewed coffee.  Your guests will love it!
