Breadsticks coated with Parmesan cheese are baked then wrapped with prosciutto, serve with a green salad or for lunch. They are great on a buffet table!

Breadsticks with Parmesan and Prosciutto

Recipe Type: appetizer, breadsticks, cheese, ham, meat, prosciutto

Prep Time: 15 min
Cook Time: 15 min
Total Time: 30 min

Ingredients:

10.6 ounce tube ready made breadstick dough, in the dairy case
1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated
3 ounce package Prosciutto, thinly sliced

Instruction:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Separate breadstick dough strips; cut each in half lengthwise with a sharp knife or pizza cutter, then cut each strip in half horizontally. Roll dough strips in grated cheese, place on a Silpat lined sheet pan or parchment paper. Position oven rack on the upper third portion of the oven and bake breadstick dough at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Remove from oven to cool. Just before serving wrap breadsticks with a thin slice of Prosciutto.

Wine recommendation: Pinot Gris; Chardonnay
