a beet star is a very simple idea that anyone can do,
if you have small children they would love to make all kinds of beet
stars,
they are very easy.
You can serve several cutouts on a plate with the main meat
entree or
put the stars on top tossed green salads, or even on a plate with a
sandwich,
you could vary the sizes, making some of them large and some small, whatever
you like.
all you need is a can of sliced beets and small cookie cutters or
you could make your own shapes with a knife.
