Pâté (a French
term for a paste or spread of puréed or finely chopped
liver, meat, fish, game)... it is
delicious....
Usually it is served on crackers or small rounds of toast as an hors
d'oeuvre
I never thought to put it on a baguette sandwich until I saw it on the menu at a
quaint little French Bistro, that is what we have here.
The sliced red onion and moist mayonnaise on the baguette bread make this a great lunch!
Serve with a mixed green salad and a light dessert for lunch or supper.
