when I need a quick, easy and delicious
wrapped shrimp hors
d'oeuvre, I choose this one.. I usually always have these ingredients on hand in my freezer and
it takes just seconds to put this together; my guests always empty the
plate. I serve them with a dry red wine such as a merlot or cabernet sauvignon,
occasionally some of my guests prefer beer

hors d'oeuvre
12 - 16 ounces sliced bacon, cut crosswise into thirds 1 pound medium-sized
shrimp, tails-on garlic salt cracked black pepper toothpicks
Cook bacon in a large skillet until halfway done, drain on paper towels;
sprinkle with garlic salt and cracked black pepper then wrap a slice around the
middle of each shrimp; skewer with toothpicks to keep from unraveling. Broil on a foil
lined baking sheet for 5 minutes and serve with wine or beer.
