I love this fresh
vegetable when they are prepared tender crisp,
they are probably my favorite vegetable and pair beautifully with
wrapped bacon.
One of my relatives used to make this combination in a saucepan of
water with diced onion and cook them slowly... all day long! that
was the way she liked them... haha! We all have
different taste buds and ways to prepare foods.
This is an easy wrapped side dish to make,
I do not like this recipe baked, I find they wilt, become
charred,
overcooked and unattractive.
I like to cook the bacon separately then wrap the vegetable
for another easy side dish try
